Community Draw
January 4, 2023, 6:00 PM
$10Seasoned and aspiring artists are invited to participate in this costumed figure drawing program, organized by Ticonic Gallery + Studio. This program, the first one in our new space, features Waterville native Chase Wheeler, a lifelong athlete and fitness enthusiast. You may have seen Chase around town at the gym or waiting tables at Front & Main.
This class offers a unique opportunity for emerging and established artists to hone their drawing skills in a supportive environment. Participants bring the media of their choice: charcoal, pastels, paint, clay, etc. Ticonic provides the chairs, model, and camaraderie.
All levels of experience are welcome. Each class will begin with a quick drawing warm-up exercise, followed by timed, open-drawing sessions. There will be an optional 15-minute sharing of work after class.
Cost: $10 per person. This event is eligible for the Youth Arts Access Fund.
Masks and proof of vaccination are no longer required. For more info on the Waterville Creates Covid policy, please see our website home page.
