The next session of Hope’s Place will be held on Thursday nights, beginning March 31, and continuing through May 12. Group meetings begin at 6:00 pm and end by 7:00 pm. Hope’s Place is located at 302 Main Street, next door to the Hospice Community Center of Waterville.

This program serves youth ages 3 – 18 and their parents or caregivers. Families who have experienced the death of a loved one are encouraged to contact Jillian Roy for more information or to arrange a pre-group interview.

Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area serves 27 communities in Central Maine. It exists to provide non-medical support to individuals and their families during the last phases of life and to loved ones throughout the grieving process and to educate the community on issues related to death and grieving. Bereavement services are available to anyone who has sustained loss either through illness or unexpectedly. HVWA is volunteer-based and community funded.
