Intermediate Pottery Class
November 11, 2019, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
$175This six-week pottery class is perfect for the individual with wheel throwing and centering clay experience who would like to further refine their skills. In this class, students will build upon basic pottery skills including building and throwing forms, creating more complex vessels including but not limited to, large bowls, dinner plates, lidded vessels, stacked and altered wheel forms. Bring your ideas and sketches to use as a place of departure.
The $175 class fee includes a 25-pound bag of clay, all glazes, and kiln firings during the class period. Each student can access the studio from 6am- 8pm on weekdays and from 9am- 5pm on weekends–except when other scheduled classes are in session.)
Basic pottery/clay experience and advance registration are required. Limited to six students.
The class meets Mondays, 5:30-7:30 p.m., for six weeks, starting November 11. The instructor is Yvonne Brown, Clay Studio Manager.
