Maine Voices Live Waterville with Amy Calder

Amy Calder is an award-winning newspaper reporter and columnist for the Morning Sentinel, where she covers city government and everything from murders and car crashes to fires and drug busts. Calder also writes a weekly human interest column, “Reporting Aside.”

Her new book, Comfort is an Old Barn represents a partial collection of those columns, which include sketches of the colorful characters and quirky animals she has encountered, as well as personal stories about growing up in rural Skowhegan.
