Making Space for We: Building Bridges Through Art and Social Action

Designed to build community capacity for public art projects, establish a common understanding of best practices, and develop a shared language for community discussion, Waterville Creates! and the Colby Museum are co-hosting a series of public discussions on public art and creative place-making.

The series begins with Elizabeth Jabar, associate dean and director of public engagement at the Maine College of Art. Jabar will discuss the role of the citizen, artist, designer and the power of community partnerships in fostering social change.
