Modeling Ocean Resources
June 10, 2016, 12:00 PM
$10Dr. Nick Record works at the Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences in Boothbay. His area of work centers around using computer models to help predict the ongoing changes in the oceans around the world. By using these modeling techniques, we will be better able to understand these changes and make long-range plans to help sustain these important sources of food around the world. His talk will help us understand these methods and how they can be used to study both short-term and longterm patterns in the oceans and climate that is effected by the oceans.
