Northfield
June 5, 2016, 4:30 PM
Based in Farmington, this 10-member a cappella group has been singing together, in varying line-ups, for over 30 years. They will be performing a wide range of sacred and popular music of Renaissance and Medieval Europe, and of the early American shape note tradition.
Their spring concert will feature works by William Byrd, Claudio Monteverdi, Luca Marenzio, Salomone Rossi, Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel, and P.D.Q. Bach. Our doors will open at 4 PM and admission will be by donation. Be sure to mark your calendars so you won’t miss this delightful concert with the wonderful music and lush harmonies of Northfield.
