Recovery and Opioid Addiction Rally

Kennebec Behavioral Health is pleased to partner with the Recovery & Opioid Addiction Resources (ROAR) to host the third annual Recovery & Opioid Addiction Rally on September 17th from 5 to 7 PM. KBH invites the community to join ROAR to honor those who have lost their lives to substance use disorders and to support the hope for recovery.  Rain Date: Sat, Sept 18, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.

Taking place at Coburn Park in Skowhegan, guest speakers will tell their stories about recovery and the community can participate in a vigil and hope walk. The rally will also include children’s activities, free food and refreshments, community resource information and free Narcan distribution.

The Recovery & Opioid Addiction Rally is supported by KBH, Somerset Public Health, KVCAP, Crisis & Counseling Centers and OPTIONS.

ROAR is a community group of individuals, sponsored by Kennebec Behavioral Health, with lived experience around substance use disorders. The role of this group is to advocate for recovery supports within Somerset county. The group holds meetings each month. Learn more at www.kbhmaine.org/ROAR.
