FreeGloria Otieno, head of Biodiversity International in East Africa, is charged with promoting the conservation and use of agro-biodiversity among small and large farmers, particularly in Uganda and Kenya. Otieno works as a Ph.D. academic as well as an on-the-ground practitioner. Otieno will address food sovereignty, food justice, and food security from a human rights perspective as well as agro-biodiversity in a changing global context.
