$15 – $20The popular, Portland-based Ghost of Paul Revere describes their sound as "holler folk," not because it involves a lot of hollering, per se, but because it invokes the rich communal tradition of field hollers, with their call-and-response melodies, sing-along hooks, and densely layered harmonies. That sense of musical camaraderie is essential to everything The Ghost of Paul Revere does. The band has sold out Port City Music Hall, Stone Mountain Arts Center, and the Strand Theater multiple times and won Best In Maine at the New England Music Awards.
Their opening act, Spencer Albee is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. His efforts with Rustic Overtones, As Fast As, and as a solo artist have seen him through four record contracts and two publishing deals. He has worked alongside industry legends such as David Bowie, producers Tony Visconti (David Bowie, T-Rex), David Leonard (Prince, Paul McCartney), and Matt Wallace (Faith No More, Maroon 5). All in all, Spencer is a man of many hats and an all-around good guy to know.
Tickets: $15 in Advance, $20 Day of Show. Prices do not include per ticket handling fees. Seating in general admission. Doors open at 7:00; the concert starts at 8:00.
