Two Cent Talk: Jeffrey Thomson and Justin Tussing

Jeffrey Thomson is a poet, memoirist, translator, and editor and is the author of multiple books, including the memoir FragileThe Belfast NotebooksThe Complete Poems of Catullus, and the edited collection From the Fishouse. He has been an NEA Fellow, the Fulbright Distinguished Scholar in Creative Writing at the Seamus Heaney Poetry Centre at Queen’s University Belfast, and the Hodson Trust-John Carter Brown Fellow at Brown University. He is currently professor of creative writing at the University of Maine Farmington.

Justin Tussing is associate professor of English at the University of Southern Maine. He directs the Stonecoast Low-Residency M.F.A. in Creative Writing and the Stonecoast Writers’ Conference. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa’s Writers’ Workshop and the author of two novels, Vexation Lullaby (Catapult Press) and The Best People in the World (HarperCollins). His fiction has appeared in The New Yorker, TriQuarterly, and Public Space.
