Urban Exploring: Historic Industries and Institutions not to be Forgotten

Please welcome author and registered Maine Guide, Arend Thibodeau, as he discusses his two books, as well as projects which he is working on.

Arend specializes in finding the forgotten and exploring the things left behind. Often called URBEX, or urban exploration, Arend crisscrosses the state in search of things left behind and helps bring awareness to the historical significance of his discoveries.

Not only will Arend be discussing his adventures throughout Maine, but he will be making connections to the Greater Waterville area and elaborating on the historical significance the area has had in Maine’s history.

Door opens at 6:00 for light refreshments and socializing, Arend will present at 6:30. All are welcome; bring a friend! Admission is free; donations are gladly accepted.
