Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating comic book specialty shops and libraries across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops and libraries. After a brief exploration of the museum, we will read a children’s book related to summer. Children and their grownups will then be invited to the Mirken Education Center to have a snack and create their own works of art. This one-hour program is designed for preschoolers and toddlers.
