It's Starting!
We are excited to announce the first phase of our Wellness Expansion and Renovation commencing Monday, September 17th!
The vast improvements for youth, families and members of this community will ultimately be accompanied by some interruption to our normal course of business.
In preparation we have developed a plan to minimize disruption and maximize safety:
- Construction & renovation sites will be closed off and accessible to authorized personnel only - beginning with the north area of the facility adjacent to the outdoor pool and Gyms 1 & 2.
- Contractors on site will be clearly identifiable at all times.
- Contractors will utilize their own facilities only (outdoor porta-potties).
- The facility will remain tobacco-free indoors and outdoors.
We thank everyone for their patience as we work through the well planned phasing of our exciting Wellness Project:
- Wellness Center Construction begins Monday, September 17th behind the building!
- Gymnasium Courts 1 & 2: closed September 17 – end of November. Balcony track support and future Wellness Center access
- Library & Boardroom: Unavailable after September 21st. Temporary office space during first floor renovations
- After School Program Entry: November 26 – mid-February. New offices, coat room, and expanded dining area
- Gymnasium Court 3: closed November 27 – mid-February. Continued structural work for track
