Established in 1970, the Humane Society - Waterville Area's on-going mission is to shelter homeless animals until they can be placed in new homes, to educate the public about responsible pet ownership, and to advocate for animal welfare.

Thanks to all our Volunteers!

All of the generous community members who volunteer at our shelter are pivotal in helping us  provide the best care for our animals as they wait for their forever homes.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please attend one training session, which is held on the first Saturday of every month at 10am at our shelter, located at 100 Webb Road.

Visiting hours are Monday - Saturday
from noon - 5pm.
