Common Street Arts is pleased to present its 5th annual Holiday Bazaar. Prior to the winter holidays, the gallery will be transformed into a marketplace filled with handmade items created by Maine artists and craftspeople through this juried exhibition. The most unique holiday gifts will be available at Common Street Arts! This call for fine art + craft is open to all artists and craftspeople. If you throw mugs, make ornaments and cards, design jewelry, knit hats, or create other imaginative gift items, we invite you to participate. All artists will be paid a 60% commission; Common Street Arts Artist Level members will be paid a 70% commission. Women’s Initiative needs help...

Women’s Initiative for the past 6 years has provided the Waterville area a place for women to come together in support of one another ( about 2000 visits annually).  We teach hand crafts, have health talks, and work together to inspire hope and create friendships that are positive and nurturing.  Self esteem and confidence are built through learning and sharing with one another.   We have been blessed to see many timid shy ladies blossom and grow beyond the struggles they had. We are 100% volunteer based and support our program through sale of our hand crafted items as well as personal donations.  All other needs are being met by the ladies that utilize our program, by giving back in what ever ways they can.  (coffee, paper goods etc) Recently we lost some or...
