Downtown Waterville Farmers’ Market Opening Day
April 30, 2020, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Find your favorite vendors at Head of Falls every Thursday from 2 - 6 p.m, starting Thursday, Apr 30, 2020.
The Downtown Waterville Farmers' Market is deeply committed to community safety as it moves to the Summer market. Vendors will be following a comprehensive list of new COIVD-19 protocol. With public health as a top priority during the COIVD-19 outbreak the market has transitioned away from a social gathering hub to a place to efficiently pick up necessities from local producers.
We will post on Facebook and our website) an updated list of vendors that will be attending opening market, so that you may contact them directly with your pre-order.
The market will no longer operate as a traditional farmers market but rather as a food distribution location. We ask that you do not come to market if you are sick, or if someone in your household is sick with symptoms of COIVD-19. Please send a friend to pick up your groceries from market instead.
We also ask that you:
Keep a distance of 6 feet from each other and allow our vendors as much space as possible during your transaction.
- Please reserve the first 1/2 hour of market for our Senior Citizens along with immunocompromised or "high risk" customers.
- Do not socialize, eat or linger in the market or vicinity.
- If paying with cash bring an assortment of smaller bills.
- Bring your own pen if paying with a check.
- Bring your own hand sanitizer!
