By examining rocks and minerals learn how to identify interesting specimens by their properties such as color, luster, and hardness. See Maine’s state crystal. Find the different minerals in rocks from western Maine. Go on a rock hunt in the museum exhibits and choose a small rock to take home.

Admission: $3 for adults, $1 for youths under 18.
