Face Masks Required at AYCC

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
All youth must wear a face mask!
July 31, 2020: The Office of Child & Family Services released updated safety guidance for childcare providers

“Children age 5 and older must wear face coverings within the facility as well as outdoors if physical distancing cannot be maintained. Children ages 2-4 are encouraged to wear face coverings. Cloth face coverings should NOT be put on babies and children under 2 years of age….”

As of Monday, August 3rd
All youth must wear face masks during
all programs at the AYCC

Parents—your child must be wearing a face mask to enter AYCC facilities
(includes Camp Tracy) and will be required to continue wearing the mask
during all activities, indoor and outdoor, when physical distancing is not possible.
If your child is unable to wear a mask,
you must provide a note from their licensed physician.

Please send additional face masks with your child as replacements for any
mask that may get lost or damaged by your child throughout the day.

Ongoing Preventive Measures
The AYCC is already following all additional recommendations for
screenings, handwashing, capacity, social distancing, etc.
This change is effective for childcare, schools, camps, and youth programming across the board so your child will experience continuity in requirements.
Thank you for your understanding and compliance!
