Free Reusable Masks

United Way of Mid-Maine has received 1,000 cloth, reusable face masks to distribute throughout our community. If your organization, business, or group would like to receive these free masks, click the link below and complete the request form.
This donation comes from United Way of North Central Mass. Their corporate community partner, AIS, an office furniture manufacturer located in Leominster, MA, started a program called Sew the Masks in the Spring of 2020 with the goal of making and donating a million high quality and reusable facemasks to first responders, non-profit organizations and those in need. They retrofitted one of the seating lines in their factory into a facemask production area and then reached out to community sewers (endearingly called “Rosies” after the WWII icon, Rosie the Riveter) to help with producing facemasks. AIS has donated 150,000 facemasks to UWNCM to distribute to other United Ways across the Northeast region.
We are excited and grateful to be able to extend this support to our partners and community.
