These public meetings represent the important step of presenting data on the health of communities in Maine counties and getting feedback from the public about what health issues should be prioritized. Learn more at www.mainechna.org.

The hospitals of the Kennebec Valley region are part of a statewide collaboration of health systems and hospitals and the state CDC called the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). The goal is to coordinate state and county health needs assessments and provide valuable population health data for organizations across Maine. The CHNA reports provide up-to-date health information at the state, county, urban and sub-population levels.

The community forums are the main way to engage the public in this important community health effort.
