REM Award Honorees (2008) — Morita Tapley (Maine Dance Teachers Club)

Morita Tapley owns and operates Morita’s School of Dance in Hermon with three satellite locations. Morita has been a member of the Maine Dance Teachers Club since 1977. She is on the Board of Directors and volunteers endless hours always bringing the most students to the Workshops as well as attending all meetings. Morita is a very important part of the success of the Maine Dance Teachers Club, and frequently teaches ballet classes at the Workshops. Morita resides in Hermon and travels great distances to assist the Club. Morita is an inspiration to all and the Maine Dance Teachers Club thanks her for her support through the years.
