REM Award Honorees (2010 – 2011) — Reginald Perry (United Way of Mid-Maine)
We are proud to honor Reginald E. Perry as our REM Award recipient.
Reg is the founder and senior director at PFBF, CPAs, a certified public accounting firm with clients throughout Central and Southern Maine. Reg has also been United Way of Mid-Maine’s volunteer Campaign Chair for two years in a row. His energy, enthusiasm and generosity over the last two years has affected our organization and our community in so many ways. He has been a connector, a messenger, a problem solver, a visionary, and a mentor. He is a remarkable person who has made an indelible mark on our organization.
Reg has brought together many hands to reach out to and for our community. He has been United Way’s connector-in-chief. He has strengthened United Way’s foundation and led us into new directions for continued success. From hosting gatherings themed around baseball or horseshoes, to spearheading fundraising efforts, to making campaign appeals, Reg has been involved in virtually every aspect of the campaign. He has touched the lives of so many, most of whom he does not even know. He is a humble advocate who shines like a superstar.
Reg lives in Clinton with his lovely wife Julia. They have two adult children, Shawn and Shannon and six wonderful grandchildren. They also a very special dog, Maddie Mae. Reg enjoys golf, has a passion for reading and is looking forward to his first skydive this spring.
