Talk to the Animals
Children who live in the city often do not get an opportunity to experience animals up close...to watch their behavior, feel them, hear them or even smell them. Creators of this community initiative involved local 4H clubs and local farmers in a display of farm animals right in the middle of Waterville's Main Street. They learned about how to take care of them, what their needs are and what they provide for humans to enjoy or use.
