United Way Transition

Since 1953 UWMM has had the same Geographic area covering Northern Kennebec County, all of Somerset County and parts of Waldo County. With the changing of time this transition is necessary and will allow UWMM to focus solely on Somerset County. With staff located in Somerset County and being part of the community, this will help our organization understand the needs to better serve our Somerset County Community Partners and Programs. We are continuing to raise funds and support programs that benefit the people of our community while we explore a model that will create efficiencies and increase our ability to raise more funds to serve those that need it most. “UWMM is committed to ensuring that Somerset County support remains and grows as we navigate this transition of our organization."
